Technical ERP Developer

About the Role

Kevisons Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Odoo Technical Developer to join our growing consulting team. In this role, you will lead the technical execution of complex ERP projects, specializing in high-performance environments and seamless system connectivity. We are looking for a professional who doesn't just write code but truly understands the architectural integrity of the Odoo ecosystem — someone who takes ownership, communicates with confidence, and delivers with precision.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Odoo Technical Developer at Kevisons Solutions, your core responsibilities will include:

Module Development & Architecture Designing and developing clean, scalable, and maintainable custom Odoo modules that strictly follow Odoo's best practices and coding standards. Every solution you build should be built to last.

API Development & System Integrations Building and maintaining custom REST and XML-RPC APIs to bridge Odoo with external platforms and services. You will be responsible for integrating Odoo with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, biometric systems, and shipping carriers — along with developing robust middleware logic that ensures complete data integrity across all connected systems.

Migration Leadership Leading technical data migrations from legacy ERP systems — including SAP — into Odoo with zero data loss. This includes planning migration strategies, mapping data structures, and validating outputs at every stage.

Performance Optimization Debugging and optimizing complex SQL queries and ORM methods, particularly for large-scale manufacturing and inventory datasets where performance directly impacts business operations.

Environment Management Managing deployments and configurations across both Odoo.sh and on-premise environments, handling CI/CD pipelines, staging branches, automated testing workflows, Linux server administration, and PostgreSQL tuning for high-security client setups.

Technical Documentation Producing clear, professional technical documentation and blueprints for every customization, integration, and module delivered — ensuring handover-readiness at all times.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Expertise Minimum 4 years of professional Odoo development experience, with a strong working knowledge of Odoo versions 16, 17, and 18, along with readiness to work with upcoming Odoo 19 features.

Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and OWL (Odoo Web Library). Strong command over Odoo.sh and on-premise environments, including Linux server management and database administration.

Integration Knowledge Hands-on experience integrating Odoo with third-party platforms and writing middleware logic for real-time data syncing and error handling across external databases and services.

Domain Knowledge A solid understanding of Manufacturing (MRP) and Inventory workflows within Odoo is highly preferred, as a significant portion of our client base operates in production and supply chain environments.

Consultancy Mindset Experience working in a professional consultancy setting — or the demonstrated ability to manage client expectations, communicate technical outcomes clearly, and deliver results with confidence and accountability.

Bonus Skills Familiarity with Odoo's Execute Code functionality and custom website builder logic for front-end customization is a plus.
